Kayrros is a climate and energy data analytics company that utilizes cutting-edge geospatial detection technologies to analyze satellite images and other data sources. Its primary offerings revolve around measuring the environmental and climate impacts of economic activity. By aggregating and processing vast amounts of public, satellite, and geolocation data, Kayrros provides actionable insights to help organizations manage climate risks, implement low-carbon transition strategies, achieve sustainability goals, and transparently communicate their progress.

Kayrros' core capabilities include monitoring methane emissions, biomass, and carbon footprints. The company has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) and the European Space Agency (ESA). Its innovative solutions were showcased at COP26 in November 2021, where the European Commissioner for Energy highlighted Kayrros' analysis as part of the European Commission's Green Deal implementation.

Since its founding in 2016, Kayrros has raised a total of EUR 72 million through various funding rounds, including a EUR 40 million Series C round in March 2022. This particular round saw participation from the French government, the European Investment Bank (EIB), NewSpace Capital, and Opera Tech Ventures, among others. As of March 2022, Kayrros employed over 150 experts, including more than 100 with master's degrees and over 20 PhDs.
