 As of March 2021, the platform reported 45,000 users with around 7,900 paying and an annual recurring revenue figure that reached SEK 31.5 million (USD 3.6 million). Its customers include Eni (oil and gas company), the US Air Force, Skanska (construction and development), the University of Washington, and Holland America Line (cruise line). Hoylu operates a subscription model which includes a freemium version, while paid plans start at USD 8 per month per user.
 
 
 In March 2021, the company announced upgrades to its workspaces including an interactive application portal enabling users to transfer work from Microsoft Office365 directly into their Hoylu workspace.
