Envopap is a British bio-based packaging manufacturer that converts local agricultural waste, including sugarcane and wheat straw fibers, to produce high-quality paper and packaging materials.
By using clean raw material that does not require purification and depending on green energy to reuse waste material, Envopap’s paper records a 38% saving on the carbon footprint, compared to conventional paper.
Envopap sells its products directly to consumers using online channels and distributors.
Key customers and partnerships
Envopap has partnered with a number of online distributors to sell its products, including Tradeling, Pulp and Paper Technology, Paper Index, India Mart, Primi, 4office, and Die Nachwachsende. Further, the company also offers its products via offline regional distributors in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Through the Founders Factory network, EnvoPAP established direct partnerships with global brands, securing contracts for custom packaging solutions, such as M&S' flower packaging and easyJet's in-flight magazines.
Funding and financials
In January 2020, Envopap raised a total of USD 1 million in a seed round led by Founders Factory.
