Conceive is a B2C fertility tech platform that offers a fertility program which combines a cohort-based community (access to peer groups of 8 to 10 peers), evidence-based education, and one-on-one coaching from experts (60-minute weekly sessions). The company’s “trying to conceive” program is eight weeks long and costs USD 549, with some scholarships available for those who cannot afford the fee. Conceive also plans to monetize its platform through clinical partnerships, employer plans, and affiliate relationships with consumer products and diagnostic companies in the future. Members have to complete an onboarding questionnaire to match them with their most suitable peer group.
Conceive announced a nationwide public beta launch of its integrated solution in April 2022. It also concluded a beta cohort of 11 members, in which 54% became pregnant, 36% identified new diagnoses, and 90% felt supported throughout their fertility journey. The company plans to launch additional fertility solutions for men, LGBTQ+ partners, and individuals undergoing egg freezing, later in 2022.
In April 2022, the company raised USD 3.7 million in a seed funding round led by Kindred Ventures. The funds were expected to be utilized to expand operations and business reach.
