Enfinity Global Inc. is a US-based renewable energy company established in 2018. The company owns and operates a portfolio of 21.6 GW of renewable energy and storage projects across various stages, including operational assets, under construction, and in different stages of development. Enfinity's expertise lies in developing, acquiring, financing, and managing solar and wind assets. As of January 2023, the company owned an operational utility-scale solar portfolio of 400 MW, consisting of 28 solar PV power plants located in California, North Carolina, and Idaho. This portfolio generates approximately USD 45 million in recurrent EBITDA annually from investment-grade counterparties. In September 2023, Enfinity acquired 546 MW of solar assets under development in Colorado, expected to start construction within the next two years and produce 1,054 GWh of clean electricity per year once operational.
In March 2024, Enfinity completed a minority sale of its 400 MW operating portfolio in the US to Kyushu Electric, a Japanese utility company. Kyushu Electric acquired a 40% equity interest, while Enfinity retained a 60% stake and serves as the long-term asset manager. This transaction aligns with Enfinity's strategy of partnering with investors sharing similar long-term goals in the energy markets where it operates.
