Solv

Solv is a California-based healthcare platform that connects patients to a network of healthcare providers across the US. It offers same-day appointments, in-person and virtual consultations, and cost transparency with a focus on acute conditions such as flu, cough, cold, and fever. Solv’s telemedicine bookings have grown from 9,000 before March 2020 to more than 1.5 million as at November 2021. The company also provides rapid Covid-19 testing and vaccination. In November 2021, Solv launched a new test finder tool, enabling users to book 25 of the most common lab tests including blood tests, drug tests, and diabetes screening. The test finder will allow consumers to search, book, and interpret test results via the Solv app or website. The company also reported a 115% increase in users and a 60% rise in provider locations between January and October 2021, with more than 27 million users, as of the same date.

In February 2023, the company launched its “Solv Final Mile Network,” a tool for patients to bridge the gap between virtual and in-person care across the US. Included Health, a Telehealth navigation and virtual primary care provider, has joined the network as a partner for the launch. The offering allows patients of both Solv and Included Health to book same-day virtual or in-person appointments for services such as vaccinations, imaging tests, pap smears, electrocardiograms, and other in-person tests.

Funding and financials

The company concluded a Series C funding round in September 2021, which brought total funds raised to USD 95 million and the new funding is earmarked for expanding its physician network, enhancing its service offering, and improving cost transparency for its patients.
