Kore.ai offers a no-code conversational AI building platform that uses natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and AI technology to provide a wide variety of products including experience optimization, conversational AI and digital user experience, virtual assistants for customer experience, customer processes, and AI-native business workflows. Users have the ability to build virtual assistants that can be delivered in both voice and digital channels as well as accurately respond to and deflect complex queries. 

In September 2021, the company expanded its platform by launching “Smart Assist,” an AI-native end-to-end Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solution, and “BankAssist,” an omni-channel virtual assistant for retail banking experiences. Notably, SmartAssist can also escalate queries to live agents when needed, in addition to automating accurate responses to queries.

Kore.ai’s operations are spread out across the globe, with offices in India, the UK, Japan, and Europe, complementing its US headquarters.

Key customers and partnerships

The platform has served more than 500,000 employees from a number of companies, including over 100 Fortune 500 companies in several industries (such as banking, insurance, healthcare, retail, telecom, travel and hospitality, and media). The company claims its platform has improved customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores of its customers by 20%–30% and that its business had grown at over 100% YoY over the past few years upto September 2021. 

In June 2022, Kore.ai partnered with Tanla, a cloud solutions provider, to tap into Tanla's client base in India, the UAE, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. 

Funding and financials

In February 2024, the company raised USD 150 million in a Series D funding round led by FTV Capital. The company planned to use the funding for product development and the expansion of its team.
