Stellic

Stellic is a degree management platform designed to streamline academic planning and advising for higher education institutions. The company offers a centralized system that allows students to plan their degree progression, track academic requirements, and visualize their path to graduation. Stellic's platform integrates with existing student information systems and learning management systems, providing a modern interface that connects student data to degree requirements and career aspirations.

The platform consists of five core modules: Pathways, Schedule, Audit, Advise, and Report. These modules enable students to interactively plan their degrees, track progress toward completion, discover conflict-free course sections, and communicate with advisors. For administrators and advisors, Stellic offers tools to identify at-risk students, provide proactive support, and streamline administrative processes such as exceptions, audit changes, and graduation certifications.

Stellic's technology employs a drag-and-drop interface that allows students to organize courses across multiple semesters while considering prerequisites and typical course offerings. The platform also provides features for exploring different majors and minors, generating ideal semester schedules based on individual preferences, and browsing elective courses aligned with personal interests.

Founded in 2016 by Sabih Bin Wasi, Rukhsar Neyaz, and Musab Popatia while they were students at Carnegie Mellon University, Stellic was born out of the founders' own frustrations with navigating degree requirements and course planning. As of March 2022, the company reported serving more than 45 colleges and universities, benefiting over 300,000 students.
