In April 2022, Chime introduced a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) tool through its platform, which allows agents and brokers to create customized and branded market analysis reports for their clients. The tool extracts data from multiple listing service (MLS) databases and pieces out information such as an estimated value of a property based on previous comparable listing data, average price per square foot, and anticipated selling time into a comprehensive report.
In August 2017, Chime acquired GeographicFarming, a real estate marketing platform, for an undisclosed sum. Through this acquisition, Chime integrated GeographicFarming’s direct mail and telemarketing features into its own platform. In September 2022, Chime acquired Rentancy, a rental property management platform for an undisclosed sum, to support its geographic expansion plans across Europe, the Middle East, and the African (EMEA) region.
Key customers and partnerships
The company partnered with Dubb, a marketing video creation platform, in November 2021. Through this partnership, Chime leveraged Dubb’s marketing video making expertise to help its agent network to convert more leads effectively by adding a visual marketing communication aspect into the process.
