CYREBRO is an Israel-based managed detection and response (MDR) startup that provides a cloud-based Security Operations Center (SOC) platform, which is built around a team of cybersecurity specialists, who leverage both CYREBRO’s automation tools and an organization’s existing security tools to monitor an organization's security posture and identify and respond to cyberattacks in real time.

The platform’s plug-and-play installation provides 24/7/365 capabilities, including monitoring, threat intelligence and hunting, forensic investigation, incident response, and security information and event management (SIEM) optimization.

CYREBRO’s customer count was 400 as of September 2022, from only 38 in 2019. Notable customers include Wind Creek, Wix, SWK Technologies, and WalkMe. It serves customers across North America, Latin America, EMEA, and Asia.

Funding and financials

In September 2022, the company raised USD 40 million in a Series C funding round led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), bringing the total funding raised to USD 60 million. The funds were utilized to expand its product functionalities and accelerate its go-to-market strategy.

CYREBRO reported that it was profitable and it grew by 300% YoY from December 2020 to 2021. The company’s monthly revenues tripled from 2019 to 2021. As of September 2022, it had an employee headcount of 150 in Israel, New York, Toronto, Ukraine, and Costa Rica.
