Founded in 2012 by Dana Maher, Eric T. Ringer, Jake Weber, Jonathan Evans, and Stephen McKeon, Skyward offers administrative software services including a student information system (SIS) and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for K-12 schools. The SIS provides tools for analytics, classroom use, family engagement, and student services, and the ERP system provides a suite of tools for HR, finance, and asset management. As of September 2021, Skyward served over 2,000 school districts and municipalities in the US.
Key customers and partnerships
In June 2022, the company partnered with Pocatello/Chubbuck School District (PCSD), reportedly the fifth largest school district in Idaho, to support the school district in streamlining its processes and procedures.
