 Hedge announced USD 3 million in seed funding in July 2021. The round was led by private media industry investor Steve Bayes. The fresh funds were allocated toward growing its team and expanding its media technology portfolio through the acquisition of Divergent Media. Divergent Media’s software provides tools that assist in editing, finishing, and transcoding. Hedge plans to consolidate these functionalities to develop novel products.
