Kajabi is a creator platform offering creators the necessary tools to transform their knowledge and expertise into successful online businesses. The platform primarily targets creative entrepreneurs, coaches, and any online businesses seeking to expand their brand presence and grow their online presence.

Kajabi includes multiple features and tools for creators including the AI Creator Hub, which features tools to generate content ideas and then customize and refine the content to align with their brand and voice. The AI Creator Hub introduced several AI-powered tools in May 2023 , such as the Course Generator and Content Assistant, which help creators generate content for online courses, podcasts, and more. The Creator Hub also features tools that help creators write sales emails, establish websites, create promotional videos, establish coaching programs, implement sales funnels, and host live streams and podcasts.

Kajabi also features Kajabi Memberships, a membership website builder and membership management software for creators to manage their memberships/followers. In November 2021, Kajabi introduced its Coaching product, aimed at simplifying the use of various tools for creators and facilitating the development of stronger connections between coaches and their clients.

In January 2023, Kajabi introduced the latest version of its community feature, known as Kajabi Communities, which lets creators engage with their audience and generate revenue from their offerings. Kajabi Communities includes features such as live calls, leaderboards, challenges, and accountability tools.

In May 2023 , Kajabi launched two more products: 1) Kajabi Payments and 2) the Kajabi mobile app. Kajabi Payments gives creators additional payment options (such as Apple Pay and Google Pay), simplifies payment management, and improves sales conversion. The Kajabi mobile app lets creators offer their own branded mobile apps, enabling them to connect more closely with their audience and maintain control of their brand across all Kajabi offerings. In May 2024, the company launched Creator.io, an AI-powered chatbot system for creators.

Kajabi’s business model is based on monthly subscription fees, starting from USD 119 a month for their basic package up to USD 319 a month for their pro package (June 2023). Kajabi charges 0% revenue fees from creators.

Key customers and partners

As of June 2023, the platform had over 60,000 creators and entrepreneurs who collectively earned USD 5 billion in lifetime gross merchandising value (GMV) from a customer base of over 75 million.

In March 2024, the company partnered with Adobe Express to launch an AI-powered generative tool called Creator Studio to turn individual videos into a variety of marketing content.

Funding and financials

Kajabi’s latest funding round was in May 2021 when it raised USD 550 million in the form of equity financing, which resulted in a company valuation of over USD 2 billion. The funding was led by Tiger Global Management, along with other investors TPG, Tidemark, Owl Rock Capital, and Meritech Capital, joining existing investor Spectrum Equity.
