Founded in Australia, KERB is provides parkings services to buyers to find parking spaces and parking operators to digitize their car parks. Its parking app enables drivers to discover, book, and pay for a private parking space for an allocated period of time for any vehicle (cars, motorbikes, trucks, buses, boats, and private jets). The parking can be booked in advance and payments can be made within 24 hours weekly or monthly, along with a charity donation option.
KERB also offers a car park management platform, called “KERB Bays,” which allows homeowners, churches, schools, shopping malls, and private businesses to rent out parking spaces and bays that can be customized. The platform offers a variety of benefits, such as the ability to manage price and occupancy in real time, monitor access, and connect with customers via the messaging tool, collect vehicle information, record enforcement, and view enforcement history.
KERB also provides a number of access control systems for car park operators that enable frictionless access and payment for parking spaces. The KERB AI camera uses an AI-powered computer vision solution capable of detecting registered users and can be integrated to existing infrastructure with minor adjustments. This can be coupled with KERB’s one-touch solution, where pre-booked daily and subscribed users can open any car park gate/barrier through the KERB app or a web browser. The firm plans to extend this feature to provide access to users without a prior booking and for guest users.
Key partnerships and customers
As of September 2023, KERB’s app is available in 600 cities across the globe and in 20 languages. Notable customers include YEG (Canada’s fifth busiest airport), Marmot Basin (ski resort), and Leinster Cricket Club.
Funding and financials
On January 2022, Kerb raised an undisclosed amount in a Series A funding. The round follows its USD 2 million venture round funding.
