Facenote offers a cloud-based facial identification software platform that can be connected with standard tablets or security cameras to enable users to implement access control (Face Access), payment (Face Payments), and loyalty (Face Loyalty) solutions. Facenote charges customers a set-up fee and a monthly charge for its loyalty and payment solutions.
Face Payments allows users to register via their smart devices and link their payment cards to their biometrics, enabling them to make payments at Face Payment terminals without presenting their cards or devices. The solution has been deployed by a wide range of merchants, including beauty salons, retail outlets, coffee shops, bars, convenience stores, gyms, and shopping malls.
Customers can also take a selfie and register for the Face Loyalty scheme, which is an omnichannel solution (linking the merchant’s online and offline sales data), where users who opt in are recognized by the camera and receive personalized benefits. These benefits are delivered through Facenote's technology, which integrates with the retailer's existing CRM.
Facenote's technology has been deployed at retail locations in the US, Chile, Brazil, Spain, and Mexico, and its customers include Coty, Melissa, and philosophy.
