Wandelbots is a German provider of robotic software that allows non-programmers to program robotic workflows using no-code technology. The platform, which was due to launch in November 2024, would provide pre-built tools and services to allow developers to optimize and complement platform services as well as an agnostic driver system for streamlined hardware integration. Moreover, users can virtualize and simulate their automation environment and test a number of factors such as physical limitations and material conditions via an integration into the Nvidia Omniverse.
The company began operations by offering the TracePen, a hardware component used by operator/programmers to perform the desired movement, which is recorded through high-precision sensors to create a 3D robotic visualization on the Wandelbots App. The app, which is installed on an iPad, acts as the user interface that allows the path performed and recorded by the TracePen to create the robotic process to be edited. In 2023, this solution was discontinued in favor of a robot-agnostic software platform that enables users to create their own robotic applications.
