Some of the use cases of TasteGPT are identifying emerging flavors by analyzing extensive recipe datasets to create novel product ideas, enhancing product recipes by recommending innovative combinations of ingredients balancing flavor, nutritional value, and eco-friendly attributes, and helping companies anticipate and capitalize on emerging trends. It also allows food manufacturers to increase cross-selling by understanding consumer likes, dislikes, and purchasing habits.

Tastewise also offers a platform to create marketing content, including campaigns, recipes, blogs, and packaging claims utilizing an AI specific to food and beverage. The company claims this can reduce time on first drafts by around 80%.

Key customers and partnerships

As reported in March 2022, the company was working with 15% of the top 100 food and beverage brands and several FoodTech startups. Some of its customers as of May 2024 include Nestlé, PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, Campbell Soup, Givaudan, and Mars.

Tastewise has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to ensure the security and reliability of the platform customer data.
