Dang Foods is an Asian-American snack company producing health-conscious products. As of October 2024, the company’s product line comprised Dang Bars, Thai Rice Chips, and Coconut Chips. Under these, Dang Food sold various flavors including its flagship product, Dang Toasted Coconut Chips.
As of October 2024, Dang Bars were available in flavors such as Almond Cookie and Lemon Matcha, while the Thai Rice Chips were offered in five flavors. Dang Toasted Coconut Chips were available in six flavors and held a 65% market share in the vegetable and fruit chip category.
The company claims its products are made with ethically sourced ingredients from Thailand. The coconut chips are made from young Thai coconuts. The Thai Rice Chips, inspired by Northern Thai street food, are made by soaking sticky rice in watermelon juice and coconut milk before crisping. The chips are gluten-free and contain 25%–35% less fat than regular potato chips. The Dang Bars are keto-friendly, vegan, gluten-free protein bars with no added sugar.
In February 2020, Dang Foods launched new packaging, a new logo, and marketing initiatives for its brand focused on its claim to be the first Asian-American snack brand in the US. The Dang snacks are non-genetically modified organisms (non-GMO) and Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Keto certified.
