Skyline Champion has agreed to acquire Regional Enterprises, an independent manufactured housing dealer, for approximately $328 million. The acquisition will also include taking on $130 million in debt. Skyline Champion will use available cash and $30 million worth of common stock to fund the purchase. The deal is expected to be finalized in the third quarter of 2024, pending regulatory approval. Regional Homes, the fourth largest HUD manufacturer in the US, has three manufacturing facilities in Alabama and 43 retail sales centers in the southeastern region. The acquisition could allow Skyline Champion to expand its distribution in Alabama and Mississippi, generating additional income.
