Sigma Computing offers a no-code data analytics and business intelligence platform that provides users with real-time access to cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery using a spreadsheet interface. The platform enables data teams to explore live data and build models and dashboards collaboratively to make decisions on a number of business processes such as supply chain, customer engagement, and budgeting.
Additionally, Sigma’s suite of tools allow users to calculate any type of inquiry against billions of rows of live data without any programming. Moreover, through its “Warehouse Data Editing” tool, users can directly edit or update their data on the Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) without building custom apps to do so. In June 2021, the company launched “Sigma Workbooks,” a collaborative canvas combining spreadsheets, charts, and narratives for analysis.
The company also offers a suite of AI-powered features, including AI-enhanced input tables, auto-generated workbooks, and a customer support chatbot. Leveraging genAI, the platform enables users to generate workbooks in Sigma from their live production data via a natural language interface.
In November 2023, the company expanded operations into the UK.
