GoodVision is UK-based company that provides automation tools in all stages of traffic projects, from traffic data collection and counting to traffic modeling and real-time traffic control.
GoodVision offers two products to help with traffic data collection, traffic modeling, and traffic control.
Video Insights Platform: A SaaS platform that performs two core tasks, traffic data collection and traffic modeling. The data supplied by users can be used to carry out traffic analyses, such as object trajectory inspections, traffic speed analysis, queue length analysis, gap acceptance analysis, saturation flow analysis, and detecting events and violations. Reports can be generated based on vehicle-to-vehicle data, traffic movement counts, origin-destination metrics, and model generation. This data can be shared with users outside the platform, as well.
GoodVision Live Traffic: A software for permanent traffic monitoring and counting of vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians in real-time. The captured data is then used for adaptive traffic control and high-level transport planning for smart cities. The GoodVision Live Traffic is shipped as a completely pre-installed hardware appliance. However, the software can be deployed on a variety of commercial hardware devices, such as edge AI box PCs, GPU servers, or AXIS DLPU cameras. It offers real-time traffic counts, events, and reports. Live traffic has the ability to detect eight vehicle classes, bicycles, and pedestrians, capture vehicle events and violations, and notify the system API within a second. The GoodVision Live Traffic is fully integrated with other products offered by the company, including its Video Insights Platform.
The firm claims its traffic data collection solution has a 95%–100% accuracy rate.
As of September 2023, it provides its solutions to 80 countries across six continents.
