Cynerio offers a platform to secure connected devices in the healthcare sector, including medical devices and enterprise IoT and operational technology (OT) devices such as closed-circuit TV cameras, HVAC systems, and more. The platform offers proactive security with features for automated risk reduction, attack prevention, and remediation. Cynerio also supports engineering teams with the ability to carry out real-time inventory management, utilization tracking, etc., as well as audit preparedness, compliance, and site due diligence. Cynerio also provides threat intelligence to its customers on new vulnerabilities using AI-based solutions.

In June 2023, Cynerio unveiled a number of new generative AI-powered features for its healthcare IoT platform, including enhanced search functions and automated rulesetting. Cynerio also plans to leverage the technology for data analytics, threat detection, and response. 

Key customers and partnerships

Cynerio partnered with the next-gen security information and event management (SIEM) startup, Securonix in April 2022 to integrate their solutions for enhanced network and security visibility across the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) network of healthcare organizations.

In June 2023, Cynerio partnered with Microsoft to integrate the latter’s SIEM and SOAR solution, Sentinel, with its medical IoT protection platform.

Funding and financials

Cynerio raised USD 30 million in Series B funding led by Alive Israel HealthTech Fund. The company expects to use the funding for product development, improving its channel program, increasing its US market share, and expanding internationally.

During 2020, the company experienced 300% revenue growth driven by the Covid-19 pandemic and the need for robust health care security solutions.
