Mile Auto offers a pay-per-mile insurance product targeting individuals who drive fewer than 10,000 miles. Policyholders share pictures of their vehicle odometers monthly and pay a base rate plus a rate based on miles driven during the previous month, which are then processed using patented computer vision technologies. Mile Auto claims that policyholders can witness savings of up to 60% on their insurance premiums via its technology.
As of January 2024, Mile Auto was available in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
