Disguise is a UK-based provider of live event visualization and immersive experience technology, offering an integrated platform that combines software and premium hardware to enable real-time 3D visualization, design, and playback for large-scale live events, XR broadcasts, and virtual productions. Through its Visual Experience Platform, which includes the proprietary RenderStream technology and over 300 integrations with REST APIs, Disguise allows creative teams to pre-visualize, simulate, and deliver complex projects across any display. Its end-to-end solution includes tools for design, control, and delivery, along with Disguise Cloud for collaborative project management, plus comprehensive training and support services to help users excel in immersive visual production.

The company claims to operate 402 virtual production (VP) and xR studios, supporting 80% of Tier 1 live shows globally. The company offers a subscription-based model with a free Starter Plan, a Pro Plan at USD 49 per user/month, and a Studio Plan at USD 99 per user/month.

In July 2022, the company acquired Meptik, a media solutions provider, to enhance its capabilities in XR and metaverse experiences by leveraging Meptik's expertise in virtual production. In March 2022, Disguise also acquired graphics solutions provider Polygon Labs to integrate cloud-based production workflows to improve broadcast graphics and enhance remote collaboration capabilities for media production.

Disguise maintains a global presence with offices in London, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, serving customers across more than 50 countries.

In June 2023, the company partnered with 4Wall Entertainment (a full-service lighting, video, and rigging company) and ZeroSpace (a cinematic RTS) to launch the Virtual Production Accelerator in New York City, a program designed to equip filmmakers and industry professionals with immersive, hands-on training in virtual production techniques using advanced facilities and technologies.
