EpigenCare is a personalized skincare platform that recommends products based on skin attributes through DNA analysis. It provides customers an at-home kit named “Skintelli'' to non-invasively collect samples to check DNA methylation levels. The company generates revenue through outright sales of its skincare tests, with prices ranging from USD 49.99 to USD 399.00.
The company claims to have identified a proprietary panel of genes that strongly correlate with changes to major skin conditions such as aging, moisture, and elasticity. The company also developed an algorithm to screen product ingredients to determine the best products in the market for each individual to reverse or slow-down the negative effect of genetics.
The company launched a beta version in February 2019 and an early access kit was available as of November 2023.
