HiProMine is a Polish company founded in 2015 that specializes in the production of insect-based proteins and other products for animal feed, pet food, and agriculture. The company utilizes various insect species, with a focus on black soldier fly larvae, to convert organic waste from the agri-food industry into sustainable protein sources and fertilizers. HiProMine's product lineup includes HiProMeat, HiProMeal, HiProGrubs, and HiProOil, which are derived from insects and used in animal nutrition applications. The company operates a production facility in Robakowo, Poland, where it produces approximately 15 tons of insects per month as of 2016. HiProMine is developing technology for industrial-scale insect breeding and processing, with an emphasis on automation and quality control. In August 2022, the company purchased land in Karkoszów, Poland to build a new factory aimed at increasing its production capacity 40-fold to 25,000 tons per year. HiProMine became publicly listed on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange in July 2022. In August 2023, the company secured over EUR 32 million in financing from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for the construction of its new production plant and an Insect Reproduction Genetic Center, with the total project budget exceeding EUR 45 million.
