Topia is a platform which automates global talent mobility tasks such as scenario-based planning, compliance risk, expat payroll, and reporting among others. Topia’s global talent mobility suite includes Topia Plan (scenario planning for the workforce), Topia Manage (talent mobility dashboard), Topia Pay (payroll delivery and compensation reporting), Topia Go (consumer-grade employee mobility tools) and Topia Compass (business travel compliance).

Key customers and partnerships

The platform is used by Fortune 1000 enterprises in industry verticals such as financial services, energy, manufacturing, technology, and pharmaceuticals among others. Notable enterprises using the platform included Dell, AXA and Equinor.

In April 2024, the company partnered with employee relocation platform Jobbatical to simplify the complexities of international work relocations handled by businesses. Previously, in February 2021 the company entered into a strategic partnership with Cartus Corporation, a company offering compliance services for distributed teams. The partnership will allow companies to manage multi-jurisdiction taxes, immigration status, payroll risks, and regulatory compliance for their distributed teams.

Funding and financials

In January 2024, Topia raised USD 15 million from six investors, as disclosed by an SEC filing. The funding strengthened the firm's ability to improve its global talent mobility platform.
