Pison Technology is a developer of wearable devices which use the human body’s natural electric biopotential signals to control robotics, factory machinery, AR, VR, and personal electronics among other devices and interfaces. Initially developed to support patients with the neurological disease ALS, Pison enables touchless control of electronics by capturing neuromuscular signals on the skin and running them through machine learning algorithms, interpreting hand and finger movement to control digital devices before the gesture has even been finished.
In March 2021, the company raised USD 7 million in a Series A funding round led by Lavrock Ventures. After years of R&D work, Pison will use the funds to launch market-ready products, including wearable devices featuring touchless controls and multiple interfaces, beginning in late 2021.
Pison has partnered with Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, Boston Dynamics, Google, Microsoft (Hololens), among others to develop its products.
