The company’s value proposition is that its cloud-based tech provides sports, music event organizers and other rights holders with new avenues for engagement and revenue.
Key customers and partnerships
YBVR’s tech was used in the Wimbledon, the Australian Open, Real Madrid, Euroleague Basketball, and others in the sports industry, as well as Verizon, TELUS, Singtel, and Telefonica. In November 2022, YBVR partnered with Meta to launch Xtadium, a VR streaming platform.
Funding and financials
In July 2021, YBVR received USD 1 million in convertible notes from TELUS Ventures. As part of the investment, the company planned to introduce a platform for immersive sports viewing in Canada.
