 Yamaha Motor has formed ENYRING GmbH to provide swappable batteries via subscription services. Focusing on urban electric vehicles like e-bikes, ENYRING will offer battery swapping at citywide stations. Spent batteries will be repurposed as storage batteries, recycled into cells, and reused. Based in Berlin, ENYRING will start operations in 1H 2025 and plans to expand throughout Germany and the Netherlands.
