Halsa is a US manufacturer of oat-based yogurt. The company imports organically-grown oats from Scandinavia with zero water footprint. The 120-130 calorie per serving product is available in four fruit flavors, including organic Strawberry, Blueberry, Mango Pear, and Concord Grape, and is available at Wegmans, ShopRite, Fresh Direct, and New York City-area airports through retailers and kiosks.
In December 2019, the company raised an undisclosed amount of funds from Danone, the French dairy giant, Gary Hirshberg (former Stonyfield Organic CEO), and Andrew Abraham (Orgain CEO). The purpose of the funding was not disclosed.
