Hazel Health is a telehealth provider that partners with school districts across the US to provide both primary care and mental health care services to K-12 students. The company provides telehealth consultations, same-day physical consultations, mental health services, prescription and referral services. Services, including physical consultations, can also be carried out from student’s homes. As of October 2022, the firm’s services are currently available to nearly 2.5 million students in more than 3,000 schools across 14 states.

Funding and financials

In October 2022, Hazel Health raised USD 51.5 million in a Series C1 funding round from new and existing investors, including Children’s Memorial Hermann, Tao Capital Partners, Owl Ventures, Firework Ventures, and Fiore Ventures. The funds were set aside for product development, enhancing the company’s technological capabilities, expanding its geographic footprint, and increasing its workforce.
