Okera’s platform enables companies to comply with privacy regulations through its machine-learning-driven data discovery platform, allowing automation in responding to data subject rights requests. Furthermore, the platform includes data governance features to protect sensitive data. In May 2020, the company released a no-code visual policy builder to create and manage access controls and privacy functions. The company raised USD 15 million in its most recent Series B funding round in April 2020, led by ClearSky Security (a cybersecurity service provider). The funding is expected to be used to expand engineering, sales, and marketing capabilities.
