Hailo is an Israeli technology company specializing in the development of high-performance AI processors for edge devices.

Hailo builds AI processors for edge devices to compute and interpret data in real time. The processor enables smart devices to perform deep learning tasks such as object detection and segmentation in real time. The company’s Hailo-8 processors are AI accelerators that use neural network architectures to enable edge devices to run deep learning applications. In addition, its Hailo-15 is a series of AI vision processors for smart cameras. The Hailo-15 System-on-a-Chip (SoC) combines Hailo’s patented and field-proven AI inferencing capabilities with advanced computer vision engines, generating premium image quality and advanced video analytics.

Hailo also offers a dataflow compiler that provides offline compilation and optimization of user’s models for edge devices, while its runtime software provides real-time inferencing in production platforms with edge devices. The company also provides pre-trained AI applications and task templates that include a production-grade pipeline and pre-trained models in TensorFlow and ONNX.

Key customers and partnerships

The company serves customers in the automotive, intelligent transportation systems, industry 4.0, smart city, smart retail, and smart home sectors. Hailo’s customers include Intelligent Ultrasound, IDEN Inc, Wisesight Technologies, Blue White Robotics, and Q Technnology.

Hailo’s technology partners are NXP, Renesas, and Socionext. The company has hardware partnerships with leading manufacturers, including Foxconn, Supermicro, Nexcom, Dell, and Lanner.
