Triditive is a Spanish company that offers on-demand additive manufacturing services, using its proprietary AMCELL 3D printers. These printers consist of eight robotic modules, each with a build volume of 220 x 330 mm, capable of operating independently and simultaneously to produce parts using their automated multi-material deposition (AMD) technology. This technology combines binder jetting and fused deposition modeling, allowing the printers to create components from a mix of polymers, composites, and metals. The company functions through its factory in Northwestern Spain, equipped with multiple AMCELL systems connected through their cloud-based software called EVAM, offering workflow management, digital warehousing, part tracking, order optimization, and quality assurance functionality.
Key customers and partnerships
Triditive partnered with Elnik Systems, a metal injection molding (MIM) equipment specialist based in the US, in January 2019, to obtain metallurgical support and production services for the Scaladd Consortium at its facilities in Germany and the US. In April 2022, it partnered with electronics manufacturer Foxconn to develop a new metal binder jet 3D printer.
Funding and financials
In June 2022, Triditive raised EUR 5 million (〜USD 5.5 million) in funding, which it intended to use to further develop its AMCELL 3D printer to facilitate a rapid response to supply chain issues.
