Standard Bots offers a six-axis robotic arm (named RO1) that uses AI and computer vision to automate manufacturing processes. These include tasks such as machine tending, pick-and-place, case packing, welding, sanding, polishing, and material handling. Users can program the robot and develop their own robotic applications via the platform’s no-code interface or through flexible APIs and React components. Furthermore, RO1 can be integrated with grippers, conveyors, 7th-axis slides, linear actuators, and more without additional configuration. Its products are available for outright sale.
As of July 2024, the company was developing a transformer-based foundation model that enables users to program robots using demonstrations. The model also allows robots to self-learn and adapt to variations in the environment using its in-built 3D vision cameras.
