Streetline provides a variety of parking planning and management solutions for parking operators, including a 1) parking information platform (providing information on parking availability, rules, and pricing via a mobile app or as an API that can be integrated into a vehicle information dashboard), 2) infrastructure-less sensing (a software developer kit that uses smartphone location and motion sensors to automatically and anonymously capture user parking activities), and 3) parking management tools (web-based analytics tools for dynamic pricing and parking policy enforcement). Streetline’s solutions leverage machine learning (ML) to deliver real-time parking information and dynamic pricing. In addition, the firm also provides IoT sensors and cameras for gathering parking data, which the firm claims have 95%–97% accuracy.

In April 2015, Streetline acquired Kapsch Traffic Com, an Austrian-based mobility solution provider on traffic management, electronic toll collection, and mobility information systems.

Key customers and partnerships

The firm’s solutions have primarily been deployed in the US, Canada, and Europe and are used by more than 30 cities including Los Angeles, Redwood, and Oakland as well as by universities, corporate campuses, and mobility partners. As of December 2021, the firm claimed that its solutions have managed 720 million parking events(compared with 250 million managed as of July 2014).
