Feast & Fettle delivers prepared fresh gourmet meals with locally sourced ingredients to Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The company offers different menus weekly, with meals intended to replicate fine dining, targeted at affluent individuals and families. The customer has a selection of eight entrees and 10 side dishes to choose from and can order up to two weeks in advance. The menu has a few vegetarian options as well.
The company’s culinary team prepares the meals at its local commercial kitchen and deliveries are made in insulated bags with commercial-grade ice packs by the in-house delivery team. The weekly subscription price ranges from USD 59.99 - 79.99 for a single person, USD 89.99 - 129.99 for a couple, and USD 139.99 - 219.99 for a family of four.
In November 2020, the company raised USD 1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Salem Capital Management to facilitate expansion plans including a custom built production facility to serve the Boston metropolitan area. It also plans to launch a new facility in Connecticut in late 2021.
In June 2021, the company acquired Boston-based Bountiful Kitchen, a dinner service that focuses on sourcing ingredients from local farms and small businesses. The investment is the company’s first acquisition. Feast & Fettle plans to leverage Bountiful’s existing local vendor and customer relationships while using its own technology and production capacity.
