Based in Mexico, Stori offers credit card facilities in partnership with Mastercard and is aimed at underserved populations in the country. Customers can sign up using the mobile app for free, and it requires no paperwork or credit history. However, the bank may charge an opening fee for customers with bad credit history. Through the mobile app, customers can apply for the credit card, pay bills, and build their credit history. The bank claims to increase the credit lines of customers every three months if they use the credit card responsibly.
Key customers and partnerships

Funding and financials
In July 2022, Stori raised USD 150 million (USD 100 million in credit lines and USD 50 million in equity) in a Series C funding round at a valuation of USD 1.2 billion. The round was co-led by BAI Capital, GIC, and GGV Capital. It had planned to use the fresh funds to increase its product portfolio and staff and expand its presence across Spanish-speaking Latin American countries, with the aim of reaching 100 million customers. Additionally, it received USD 50 million in a credit line from Community Investment Management in May 2023.
