Krisp provides noise cancellation and on-device transcription solutions. Its AI-powered noise cancellation tool works bi-directionally and eliminates disruptive noise and echoes from all sides of the call. This tool also provides call insights and summaries to help users monitor their engagement levels and keep track of meeting effectiveness. Krisp’s AI-powered on-device transcription service for calls and meetings, launched in March 2023 , identifies the voices that are being transmitted and converts them into text, without needing to interact with any services/APIs or download/upload audio files for transcription.
Krisp supports any device and is compatible with over 800 apps for conferencing, streaming, recording, and voice messaging including Zoom, Google Meets, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Skype. Krisp operates a subscription pricing model with paid plans starting at USD 8 per user per month.
Key customers and partnerships
As of March 2023, Krisp serves over 2,000 customers including Nasa, Github, AWS, Siemens, Accenture, Cisco, and Sony.
Funding and financials
In February 2021, the company announced that it added USD 9 million in funding to its Series A round, which opened in August 2020. The extended funding brings total Series A funding to USD 14 million. The fresh funds will be funneled into product development, which includes adding cross-service call recording and analysis, and increasing the employee headcount to 45 from 25.
The funding follows a stellar year for the platform, which saw its annual recurring revenue grow 13x, driven by 20x growth in active users and a 23x improvement in enterprise accounts.
