Iziwork is a French platform which connects temporary workers with businesses through its online marketplace. The platform was founded by Mehdi Tahri, former lead program manager for retail transformation at Amazon, and Alexandre Dardy, former CEO at Alibaba owned Lazada Group’s Vietnam operations. The platform offers freelancers in verticals such as logistics, construction, and customer service. Third-party companies can also join Iziwork’s network on a revenue-sharing basis, effectively increasing the supply of services on the Iziwork platform.
In January 2021, Iziwork raised USD 43 million from Cathay Innovation and Bpifrance. The fresh funds will be allocated to double its R&D team for product development, expand in France, and enter new markets. The company reported that its users on assignment grew fourfold between April and December 2020.
As of January 2022, the platform serves more than 1,500 companies in France and Italy, and the platform reports around 1.3 million candidates using the platform for job opportunities.
