DocuPhase offers an automation platform that enables users to create, manage, and integrate custom workflows across a range of finance and accounting processes. The platform provides solutions for automating approval processes associated with purchase orders, sales orders, invoice captures, payment approvals, vendor management, and employee onboarding. Moreover, users can also extract, store, and manage data from invoices, contracts, HR records, and other financial documents and create custom web forms.
The company has also expanded its offerings through acquisitions. In March 2023, the company acquired iPayables, an accounts payables (AP) automation and supplier management solutions provider, for an undisclosed amount to further expand its AP automation offering and reach a wider client base. DocuPhase then acquired Frevvo, a web form-building platform, to add its form and e-signature solutions to the platform.
Key customers and partnerships
As of February 2024, DocuPhase provided software solutions to over 1,200 customers, including Delta, FedEx, Carmex, Harvard University, Fanatics, and Lockheed Martin.
During the same period, the company also offered integrations with a number of ERP providers, including Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Acumatica, Salesforce, and Sage.
In September 2024, DocuPhase partnered with Center to provide its customers access to the latter’s travel expense management solutions.
Funding and financials
In February 2024, DocuPhase received an undisclosed amount in an investment from Aquiline Capital Partners LP and Level Equity. The company earmarked the funding to expand its product suite and invest in product development. Specifically, DocuPhase planned to grow its newly launched vendor payments solution.
