Hi Marley provides an artificial intelligence (AI) based text messaging platform for insurers to streamline communication around underwriting, claims, and other areas of customer engagement. Hi Marley’s technology enables customers to report claims via text and its AI bot can respond to common queries immediately with support for more than 25 languages. Hi Marley’s platform also offers application programming interfaces (APIs) that integrate with various core insurance systems. In 2020, the company saw a pandemic-induced four-fold increase in its customer base. Hi Marley now serves more than 40 customers including American Family, MetLife, Auto-Owners, Erie and MAPFRE.
In March 2021, the company raised USD 25 million in Series B funding led by Emergence Capital. The company expects to use the cash to develop new features and grow its team.
