DotCom therapy provides online speech therapy, counseling, school psychology, and occupational therapy to children with mental and behavioral health disorders. The platform connects kids with therapists for virtual video consultations. The startup had collaborated with more than 250 schools across 35 US states with its 200 therapist network as of August 2021.
In June 2022, the company announced its a cquisition of Wolf+Friends , a community platform for parents raising children with special needs. The acquisition marks the first transaction for DotCom therapy. Wolf+Friends will operate as an independent brand under DotCom Therapy and its platform was relaunched to include new features such as support groups led by mental health professionals partnered with DotCom Therapy, educational content, and expert questions and answer forums.
Funding and financials
In September 2021, DotCom raised USD 13 million in a Series A funding round to enhance its offerings and expand partnership networks beyond school districts. The company also plans to grow its program for families, Zesh, as well as to increase its geographical footprint across all 50 US states by January 2022.
