1) F’real to develop a plastic-free, molded fiber dairy cup as a sustainable alternative to the current single-use plastic cups used by F'real (October 2022)

2) Sambazon to develop sustainable, plant-based packaging solutions for Sambazon's açaí products (October 2022)

3) Gillette, who is another company that uses Footprint’s packaging solutions (October 2022) 

4) Upfield, the owner of the Flora brand, to launch the world's first plastic-free, recyclable tub for plant butters and spreads (January 2024).

Funding and financials

Though the company reported plans to go public toward the end of 2022, it reported scrapping the plans ahead of unfavourable market outcomes. During Q1 2022, the company reported a robust 133% increase in Q1 revenue compared to the previous year. The annual revenue contracted was projected to rise to USD 924 million by the end of 2022. Additionally, the company reported significantly expanding its capacity, more than quadrupling it compared to 2021 by adding 1.2 million sq ft at its Mexicali site.
