Zoov is a pioneer in providing self-service electric bike solutions across Europe. The company offers smart, durable electric bikes along with a compact and cost-effective parking and charging infrastructure. Zoov's technology enables cities and operators to seamlessly integrate electric bikes into their mobility solutions or enhance existing services through its IoT technology and fleet management tools.
Connectivity is crucial for Zoov's electric bike solutions. To ensure reliable real-time connectivity, Zoov incorporates high-performance Wi-Fi and cellular antennas from Taoglas, ensuring its bikes stay truly connected. In December 2020, Zoov adopted the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud for 3D modeling and simulation, enabling efficient remote collaboration and accelerated product development cycles.
In October 2021, Zoov merged with Smoove, another major player in self-service bike sharing, to form a joint venture named Fifteen. The new entity aims to offer enhanced bicycle networks by combining various bicycle-related services, including self-service bikes, long-term rentals, station-based systems, and tourist bikes. In March 2022, Fifteen raised EUR 40 million in funding to accelerate the deployment of these "Augmented Bike Networks" across territories, promoting sustainable urban mobility.
