RollinGreens, founded by Ryan and Lindsey Cunningham, is a startup offering plant-based protein solutions. The company initially began as a food truck and, in March 2022, pivoted to focus on shelf-stable, plant-based meat alternatives, launching products like ground tacos, chopped fajitas, classic salt and pepper, and chorizo using its ME’EAT and CHIC’KEN products. In May 2024, the company expanded its portfolio with four varieties of shelf-stable Plant-Powered Meal Bowls.
After appearing on Shark Tank in 2020 and striking a deal with investor Robert Herjavec, the brand saw explosive sales growth, tripling its revenue that year. RollinGreens products are now available in over 4,500 stores nationwide including Kroger, Walmart, and Whole Foods.
Funding and financials
RollinGreens has undergone two funding rounds, with the latest being a Convertible Note round in September 2022 led by Amadeo Global. Despite not closing the Shark Tank deal with Robert Herjavec for USD 500,000, the company managed to achieve an annual revenue of ~USD 4 million as of the end of 2022, enabling it to scale production and expand product availability across various retail platforms.
