Numilk develops vending machines that can produce plant-based dairy from almonds, oats, cashews, etc. The startup is developing two versions of the vending machine: one for use at homes and offices and another for grocery stores and supermarkets. In December 2018, the startup ran a pilot project at the supermarket kiosks of two New Jersey Whole Foods stores. Vending machines for commercial use are available for preorder at USD 699. As of December 2020, the kiosks were available in 10 Whole Foods locations in the US.
In 2021, Mark Cuban has invested USD 2 million in the plant-based milk startup Numilk on ABC's "Shark Tank.” Numilk is the largest investment made by Mark Cuban on Shark Tank to date.
