Obviously AI looks to make machine learning accessible for data predictions, without the use of coding. This enables non-technical business analysts to run predictions on their historical data, with just a few clicks. The platform primarily caters to mid-sized businesses, and focuses on a range of businesses, including marketing, software, fintech, and insurance firms. The platform also allows integration with a range of data sources, including MySQL, Redshift, and BigQuery, among others.

It allows businesses to forecast revenue, optimize supply chains, and personalize marketing. Obviously AI had over 3,000 clients as of July 2021, and its platform was used to create over 82,000 predictive models. Enterprise customers included EY, Virgin, and The World Bank, among others.

Obviously AI raised USD 4.7 million in seed funding in 2021, in two rounds. The company expects to invest the funds in expanding its presence in Asia and focusing on research and development to broaden its machine learning use cases (including unsupervised machine learning). Obviously AI intends to grow throughout Japan by partnering with the printing company Dai Nippon Printing for its go-to-market strategy.
