Seniorlink provides support and guidance to family caregivers through a team of remote care coaches. Its service, Careforth, is designed to help caregivers better care for their loved ones and themselves by offering coaching, resources, emotional support, and payment. Careforth works by matching caregivers with a dedicated care coach who provides personalized advice, education, and encouragement through phone calls, text messages, and video chats. Caregivers can also access a variety of educational materials, such as articles, videos, podcasts, and webinars, to learn more about caregiving topics and skills. Additionally, Careforth offers suggestions for payment options for caregivers who qualify for certain programs, such as Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, or long-term care insurance.
Key customers and partnerships
Seniorlink expanded its partnership with Humana in August 2020 to offer care management and support services to high-risk members during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the partnership, Humana would provide services via Seniorlink’s app (at the time called Vela) to support Humana's most vulnerable, high-risk members during the pandemic.
